Asmaa Elmahdy
Asmaa Al
Mahdy is a school librarian at National Charity School in Dubai,
with nearly 13 years of experience in librarianship. She believes that a
librarian’s role goes beyond organizing books—it is about inspiring students,
nurturing their love of reading, and supporting their talents and potential.
She strives to make the library a vibrant educational and creative
space through diverse reading, cultural, and educational initiatives that
encourage students to read, discover their talents, participate in competitions
and activities, and express themselves with confidence.
Among her notable achievements is winning First Place in the
Pioneering Teachers Competition – Sustainable School Category, recognizing her
efforts to enrich the educational environment and strengthen the library’s role
in supporting students and the school community.
