Dr Fajer Bin Rashed

Dr Fajer Bin Rashed is an Assistant Professor at the Australian University, Kuwait. She holds a PhD in Language and Literacy Studies and has teaching experience at the tertiary level in the GCC since 2007. She is a published researcher, an associate editor and active reviewer for interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals. Her work has been published by Taylor & Francis, Routledge, amongst others. Her research interests include literacy education, bilingualism, multiculturalism, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in education. She leads a one-of-a-kind online Picturebook Club initiative where adult readers come together to explore, read, and discuss picture books through thoughtful dialogue.
